One day I was in Melbourne and I was heading to a show this band was opening and I was on my way and this fucked as gay rights parade got in the way of the tram I was on so I was fully pissed and was late to the show and had just missed this band but people were saying it was the best bands first show they had ever seen and were really psyched on them.

This isn't the first show but I don't think the demo does them justice.

the 1990's were a strong time for australian hardcore, specially if you're talking about getting out there, these guys featured on many surf and skate videos in the 90's. Playground Of Hate play semi-crossover influenced hardcore and played a good lot of their shows with Throwdown, no not the mosh band from the US of A but the riff loving wax heads from Cronulla.
This is their second release, a demo precedes and another album follows after this one.
